Safe Families for Children is a family preservation movement motivated by radical hospitality, disruptive generosity, and intentional compassion to keep children safe and families together. We bring church and community together, mobilizing an army of volunteers to advocate for vulnerable children and socially isolated families. Our goal is to grow a national movement of change agents passionate about protecting children and preserving families in communities across the nation and the world. Please join us Saturday morning May 28th, at 9:15am in Seton Hall for a 30 minute presentation about Safe Families. Coffee and some sweet treats will be provided.
All men of the parish are invited to our next Men's Night Out (age 21+) casual evening and get together, to be held on June 1st, rain or shine. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know other men of the parish, especially if you are a new parishioner. Bring your own steak to grill and your favorite beverage (adult or otherwise). Baked potatoes and veggies will be provided. Grills will fire up at 6 pm, but come whenever you can. For planning purposes, please RSVP by May 30th to Andy Voloch at andy.voloch@gmail.com or text at 847.340.7681. Save the date for these future Men's night out get together evenings: July 20th and September 7th.
Join Fr Romke and the praise band to experience a powerful time of worship through music and short reflections. Open your heart to the Holy Spirit and allow the love of Jesus to bring healing through a Eucharistic procession with individual blessing with the monstrance.
Men’s Bible Study is beginning a new chapter on Tuesday, March 8th at 7pm in the St. Joseph’s Room. Consider joining us for The Bible & the Early Church Fathers. Contact Paul van den Heuvel at: pa320@aol.com or 847-212-0545
Join Fr. Romke for an evening of Adoration, music and meditation on the visions and messages from Jesus and Mary given to Bolivian mystic Catalina Rivas. This teaching on what is actually happening in the spiritual realm during Holy Mass was granted the Imprimatur by Bishop Jose Oscar Brahona of El Salvador in 2004. This testimony was given so that all of us could live the greatest of Miracles, the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, with our hearts. If you have ever thought that you don’t understand the Mass or felt Mass is boring, this evening is for you!
Join us a Fr. Romke leads ENCOUNTER, an hour of prayer that begins with guided meditation rooted in scripture and then flows into a time of worship through song, all in the presence of our Eucharistic Lord in Adoration
A new Men's Bible Study will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7PM. The first one will be on Tuesday, January 21st. Study scripture with other men in the parish and grow your faith! Call the parish office to sign up (815)459-3033. Contact Paul van de Heuvel at pa320@aol.com with any questions.
